Ahead of the 2022 World Cup, Adidas commissioned a series of murals honouring players from the US Men’s National Team.
In Queens, New York, artist Drew painted a tribute to Gio Reyna on a large wall along Northern Boulevard.
I spent the day documenting the process: sketch lines becoming colour, ladders shifting across the wall, and a portrait slowly appearing above the street.
