Jasmine
Opening the Door
For years, Jasmine’s focus was her family. Her husband’s military career meant moving often, and with two young children at home she put her own professional ambitions on hold. But the desire to build something for herself never really went away.
That opportunity arrived through OneTen, a coalition of companies working to expand career pathways for talented people who don’t have a four-year degree. Through the programme, Jasmine applied for a role at Deloitte and joined the firm’s Executive Service Center, supporting senior leaders across the organisation.
Her days are now filled with the fast-moving rhythm of consulting work. Different teams, different projects, different problems to solve. The kind of environment where you learn quickly because you have to. Alongside the job, Jasmine is now pursuing a degree in business analytics while continuing to grow within the organisation.
Photographing Jasmine meant focusing less on the corporate environment and more on the person behind it. Someone balancing work, study and family while quietly building a future that once felt out of reach.
Sometimes opportunity isn’t about changing everything overnight. It’s about someone opening a door and saying: your skills count.
