Job Oyebisi grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where a visit to an empty school laboratory left a lasting impression.

His class had expected rows of experiments and equipment. Instead, they found an unused room. The school simply couldn’t afford the tools needed to teach practical science.

That moment stayed with him.

Today Job is the founder of StanLab, a virtual laboratory platform that allows students to perform experiments digitally. With a laptop and an internet connection, students can run the kinds of experiments that once felt out of reach. The platform is already helping thousands of students across Africa engage with science in a more practical way.
