The Scenic Route
Byway is a travel company built on a simple idea: that the journey matters as much as the destination, and that flying isn't always the answer. For their out-of-home campaign, I spent five days rattling through France, Switzerland and Italy by train, following Kate and Pete as they did the same. The brief was to document the experience — the landscapes blurring past the window, the unhurried rhythm of it, the moments that only exist because you're not in a hurry. The result was a suite of images that made the case for slow travel without needing to say a word about carbon footprints.
